With the NFL Combine wrapped up, the focus intensifies on top prospects shaping their destiny in the upcoming draft. For avid football card collectors and dealers, the pre-draft period buzzes with activity as collectors aim to secure early deals on players destined for prime draft positions.

Now, let's delve into the recent market shifts for key players drawing attention from fans eager to buy, sell, and trade in the weeks ahead.

Here are a few player you should consider:

Caleb Williams - QB USC

Caleb Williams - QB USC

Emerging as a likely first overall pick for the Chicago Bears, Williams' card market has witnessed a surge over the past year, notably with the Bowman Chrome University 1st card taking center stage.

Caleb Williams autograph market continues to remain high priced and volatile. There's still some money to be made but tread lightly. His base/parallel market appears to be more stable, likely due to lower entry price points.

Selling Williams into the draft seems to be a wise move. For collectors/dealers holding him into the season, we would expect price drops when his NFL licensed cards are issued.

Drake Maye - QB UNC

Viewed as a probable 2nd overall pick by the Washington Commanders, Drake Maye's draft stock is attracting interest from other NFL teams exploring potential moves. The scenario is fluid, yet Maye stands as a prominent figure in pre-draft speculation.

Don't sleep on Maye's base 2023 Sapphire Edition as it's much more limited in print run than the base Bowman Chrome University.

Marvin Harrison Jr. - WR Ohio St.

Marvin Harrison Jr. - WR Ohio St.

Regardless of whether Harrison Jr. lands at 3rd with New England or slips to 4th/5th, he maintains consensus as a top 5 selection and likely the first non-QB off the board.

Harrison's licensed prospect cards have been rising in price since January 2024. The base Bowman Chrome 1st is still very affordable and most of the serial numbered color parallels have decent sell through rates when priced attractively.

Malik Nabers - WR LSU

Malik Nabers - WR LSU

Projected by many to go as high as 4th to the Cardinals, Nabers appears poised for a top 10 selection, keeping draft boards abuzz.

Nabers has some rather affordable autographs from Leaf printed back in 2022. These cards still have an opportunity to rise in value leading into the NFL Draft. His most popular autographs are currently from 2023 Bowman University Chrome.

Jayden Daniels - QB LSU

Jayden Daniels - QB LSU

Anticipated as the 3rd or 4th QB chosen, Daniels projects to secure a spot within the top 10 picks, adding intrigue to the unfolding draft narrative.

Daniels' football card market cap is tiny in comparison to most on this list, mainly due to a limited number of cards that have been produced. Daniels doesn't have Topps or Panini produced cards. Some collectors & dealers may shy away from brands like Onyx, Sage, or Leaf, but his average sold price of his autograph cards is up 23% since January 2024.

J.J. McCarthy- QB Mich.

J.J. McCarthy- QB Mich.

As mentioned above, McCarthy is poised to be the 3rd or 4th QB selected, contributing to the quarterback dynamics of this year's draft.

The 2021-22 Bowman University release didn't have uniform logos which might turn some collectors off. His Bowman 1st cards color parallels appear to be what many buyers prefer. At the time of researching this article most of the low dollar colors have seemingly been purchased with little remaining on eBay. Interesting...

Rome Odunze - WR Wash.

Rome Odunze - WR Wash.

While not universally seen as a higher WR pick than Harrison, Odunze garnered attention, with some teams favoring him over Nabers. Most mock drafts position him around the pivotal 10th pick, shaping the evolving draft landscape.
